preggo pics.

My cousin Melissa was kind enough to take some maternity pictures of me today. I never got any done with Rylie because I was in the hospital. We're going to try and take some more in a couple of weeks, but here's a few she took today...

Look what my husband bought me yesterday!

A brand new 2012 Chevy Suburban!

Ever since I was 18 years old I have always wanted a Chevy Tahoe, you could say it was my "dream car". Well yesterday I finally got it! I actually got a suburban (we needed the extra cargo space, a double stroller won't fit in a Tahoe with the 3rd row seat up). I LOVE my new car, it drives so nice, you forget how big it is. I also got it in white, I missed having a white car, I don't think I'll ever own anything but a white car again.
Anyway...thanks to my amazing husband we will have enough room for our 2 baby girls and all of their stuff, and they will be super safe!
"Thanks Babe!"

L.A. County Fair 2012

One of our favorite "family traditions" is going to the L.A. County Fair every year. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to go this year because of all the walking, I am very uncomfortable when it comes to a lot of walking these days. But we took our time and I sat & rested a lot. We always go during the week so it's not that busy, I think this is the last year we're going to get away with not taking Rylie on rides hahaha. There is so many other things to do at the Fair other than rides, my favorite part is all the animals (especially all the new babies!). Rylie's favorite part of the Fair has always been the train exhibit, and I think Kyle's favorite part this year was getting to pet a zebra!
They have the cutest exhibit where the kids get to pretend to plant crops, milk a cow, gather chicken eggs, pick their crops, and then go grocery shopping. Rylie really liked doing this with Daddy :)

I love that she LOVES her Daddy!
going shopping, this was her favorite part

How many people can say that they have pet a zebra?

Can't wait for next year!

32 weeks pregnant

I am 32 weeks pregnant (as of yesterday!). I've been having contractions for over a week now. My  Dr. said everything looks good, I'm not dilated and the baby looks great! I start fetal monitoring tomorrow, just to keep an eye on my fluid levels and placenta. I had an in-depth ultrasound done last week and they said the baby is already at 4 pounds (which is what Rylie was when she was born). I  am counting the days until we get to meet our little girl...

30 weeks...

As of Sunday I am 30 weeks pregnant. This is a big milestone for me, one I've been dreading and one I've been looking forward to. 30 weeks means I'm almost done! Hopefully only 8 or 9 weeks to go (my Dr. is going to deliver me by c-section a little early). I've been a little nervous about hitting the 30 week mark because that's when my water ruptured with Rylie and I was hospitalized for 31 days. I know my chances of that happening again are only 10-30% but it still makes me nervous, I couldn't imagine being away from My Girl for that long (it was hard enough being away from my animals last time).

At my 3D/4D ultrasound I was 28 weeks and they "estimated" the baby was already 3 pounds 1 ounce, it'll be interesting to see how big she's going to be. If I go to 38-39 weeks it's going to be a totally different experience for me, I won't have to wait 33 hours to see my baby, she'll get to be in the room with me and visitors can actually come and see her (they won't have to wait 10 days!). And HOPEFULLY NO NICU!  Ahhhhh that sounds SO nice!

Here's to a happy, healthy, full-term baby!!!!!!!

FALL is coming!!!

Okay I know it's only September 1st, but I absolutely LOVE Fall, so I'm excited that it is on it's way...Plus I have dreaded this summer, so I'm glad to see it go (being pregnant in 100 degree weather is NOT fun!). I love everything about Fall, the colors, the smells, the decorations, going apple picking, pumpkin patches, Halloween, Thanksgiving, the cooler weather, and of course the arrival of our baby girl! I can't wait to be able to wear a sweater & Uggs again. I know California doesn't get a "real Fall" like other places do but I'll take what I can get. Our trees still change colors & lose their leaves, and the nights get cooler. I really want to get out my Fall decorations but I'll try and wait till at least the end of September. Plus I'm excited for Rylie to pick out her Halloween costume this year, she's seen them in the stores (I don't think Mommy is going to get a say this year, she's a big girl now).
Anyway...that's why my blog is already decked out for Fall, I just couldn't wait!!!!
