Look who started FIRST grade!

Rylie had her first day of school on Thursday. I can't believe she's in 1st grade! She was so happy to see all her friends, and we're both happy with the teacher she got. Here's to another fun filled year of learning at Lake Hills!

Build-A-Bear

Rylie & Brooklyn got build-a-bear gift cards for Christmas, so yesterday after school we went to the mall and they got to spend them! They had so much fun building their LaLaLoopsy doll & Minion!

"Thanks Lauren & Robert!"

Our annual trip to Knott's

Rylie's 100th Day Of Kindergarten!

Yesterday was Rylie's 100th day Of kindergarten! The kids had to make a shirt with 100 things on it, of course my daughter picked sea animals (just like her Mama!). I got to help in the classroom with their special "100 activities", I also got to stay and see their "fashion show". The kids had a really fun day :)

Our Big Kindergartener!

Today was Rylie's 1st day of kindergarten! She was in TK last year so she already had friends and was use to school. But it's still crazy to think my little 4 pound baby is in kindergarten! Can't wait to see what this year holds for our beautiful girl...

May 31, 2015....

On May 31, 2015 my cousin Michael was killed in a motorcycle accident at the age of 29. Leaving behind his beautiful 8 month old daughter, Amerie. Our family is completely heart broken. I grew up with Micheal and was very close to him, this has been the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. I know people say "only time will heal the pain" but I don't think any amount of time will heal our hearts. I wasn't going to post anything on my blog about his death, but over the last two months since he passed away I've learned that talking about him and sharing his beautiful life/memory has helped me with the grieving process. He was (and always will be) such a big part of our family, and although we will all miss him for the rest of our lives, his memory and legacy will live on...
(I'm having a tough time writing this, I will write more at a later time)

"Michael and Rylie. She loved when he would chase her and hold her upside down :)"

Until we meet again my beautiful boy....
