Grandma's birthday

We celebrated Rylie's Grandma's birthday last weekend by going to Knott's Berry Farm. We had lunch at the Chicken restaurant (yum-yum), watched the Christmas parade, went on a couple of rides, and watched Snoopy On Ice (which was really good, Rylie loved it!). We had a super day, hope Grandma had as much fun as we did!
"Happy Birthday Karen, we love & appreciate you very much. Hope you had a great birthday."

LOL silly girl!

Chase's 3rd Birthday

Last weekend Kyle, Rylie & I went to Chase's 3rd birthday party (Chase is my friend Becky's son). We had a really nice evening. I can't believe Chase is THREE, boy how time flies! I love that Chase & Rylie are growing up together just like Becky & I did (we've been friends for 29 years).
"Happy Birthday Chase, we love you!"

Christmas lights!

Rylie LOVES Christmas lights, she oo's & ah's every time we pass a house with lights. The other night we took her to this neighborhood that goes all out with Christmas decorations. She loved it! She also loves to get bundled up and walk around our neighborhood to look at lights. It sure has been a fun holiday season with a two year old!

I know this picture is blurry but this house was amazing!

dinner with family...

One of the things my niece Ashley wanted to do while she was down visiting was to have dinner with family. Last night we all went to TGIFridays, and had a great time! I am so lucky to have such a big, close family (I just wish EVERYONE could've been there).
Rylie & I dropped Ashley & Daniel off at the airport this morning, it was sad to see them go but we had a really nice time with them. Here's some pictures from our dinner last night...

Disneyland 2011

My niece Ashley and her boyfriend Daniel came down from Oregon to visit. We went to Disneyland on Tuesday and had a great day! Ashley & Daniel were celebrating their 5 year anniversary, it was also Daniel's 1st time to Disneyland. I ended up getting an annual pass, so Rylie and I will have many more wonderful days at the "Happiest Place On Earth!" Rylie's favorite ride was Casey Jr's train ride (she loves "choo choos"). Mommy's favorite ride was the new Little Mermaid ride at California Adventure! I love going to Disneyland around Christmas time, it's so magical. I'm so lucky to get to spend these special moments with my girl :)
"Mommy's happy girl!"

camping

Kyle, Rylie and I went camping to Ocotillo over the weekend, just the 3 of us. We bought a Kawasaki Teryx last week so we had to try it out :) We had a nice time, it was a little cold but not too bad. Levi & Diesel were in heaven, they love camping! Here's a few pictures from our trip...

I tried to get a picture of the desert sunset, but the pictures didn't do it justice.

Santa!

Okay so this picture isn't as bad as it looks hahahaha. Rylie was actually really excited to see Santa, she was even fine talking to him afterwards. She just DID NOT want to sit on his lap LOL. My niece Ashley thought it looked like Santa was kidnapping Rylie hahahaha - ahhhh the memories! Gotta love it...

Irvine Park

This post is way over due...
I felt bad because on Rylie's actual birthday we were busy getting ready for her party. So, a few days after her birthday we took her to Irvine Park, they have a small zoo, pony rides, playgrounds, and a train ride. My brother and Mom went with us too, we had a great day together!
