Only 4 more days until Stagecoach!!!

Kyle & I are going to the Stagecoach Country Music Festival out in Indio this weekend with our friends Mark & Julie. We're taking the trailer and camping out there for 3 days, we're all so excited! Three whole days of nothing but country music, who could ask for anything more!!

Alexa's 2nd birthday!

My friend Tana and I have been friends since Jr. High. We lost touch for a few years and finally got reunited a couple of years ago. We came to find out we only live a few minutes from each other. Her and her husband have a duaghter named Alexa who just turned two! and they are expecting a baby boy in June. We all celebrated Alexa's 2nd birthday at Chuck E. Cheese! It's so nice to be able to watch Tana raise her daughter (and be a part of it), hopefully we'll stay in touch forever.

Cory turns 30!!!

Kyle's best friend Cory turned thirty years old over the weekend. His family threw him a big 30th birthday party, we all had a great time! They even put together a slideshow of pictures of him growing up.

I'm so proud of my Mom!

My Mom has struggled with losing weight for the last 10 years, she finally found something that works! She's been doing the Alli program since January and has now lost 30 pounds!! I am so proud of her. "Keep it up Mom, I love you"

Summer in April

It felt more like July than April this weekend in Southern California. The temperature was well into the 90's. I took complete advantage of the beautiful weather and laid out in our backyard (with the dogs of course). Needless to say I didn't really get a tan, it's more like a "burn", but it's nice to have some color on my white body : ) Kyle had to work all weekend so the time he spent at home was mostly spent sleeping, so I did a lot of walking on my treadmill. I've lost 4 1/2 pounds in a week, let's just hope I can keep it up and finish losing the 15 I set as my goal. As I was laying out in the backyard over the weekend I realized how beautiful our rose bushes were (we have a total of 9 rose bushes between our front and backyards) so I decided to photograph some of them, as well as a picture of "my boys" laying so nicely together.

Dumont Dunes 2008

Over the weekend Kyle and I went camping & riding with some friends at Dumont Dunes. We had a really good time, except for the WIND! I did pretty good for my first time on my new quad.

Will Ferrell sighting!

They were taping a movie version of "Land Of The Lost" out at Dumont Dunes last weekend (starring Will Ferrell). Will Ferrell is Kyle's favorite actor so he was pretty excited to get to see him in person.
