another first...

Rylie is going on her first airplane ride tomorrow! We are going to visit my parents in Washington for my Mom's birthday. I am so excited for my parents & my niece Ashley to see Rylie, she has changed so much since the last time they saw her in December. I'm traveling by myself with Rylie (Kyle has to work) so I'm a little anxious about our trip tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!

These didn't turn out like I wanted but they're still cute. I'm not a huge sports fan but I lived in Anaheim for over 20 years so I grew up going to Angel games ( I guess you can say I'm a fan).

Jenna turns 6!!!

Our niece Jenna turns 6 years old on April 21st, she had her birthday party last weekend. I can't believe our little Jenna is 6, boy how time flies!

5 month piuctures - part 1

Okay, so I decided to take Rylie's pictures this month. Rylie & I are leaving for Washington soon and I just thought this would save some time & money. I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but I do have a really good camera so I thought I'd give it a try. Remember I don't have all the "proper lights & lenses" so bare with me. This is part 1 of her pictures, entitled "Rylie the Rock Star". I'm still working on the rest...

5 months!

Rylie turned 5 months old this past Sunday. She's weighs appox. 12 pounds 6 ounces and is 24 inches long. She eats baby food (mixed with rice cereal) twice a day, and she drinks 4 to 5 ounces of formula every 3 to 4 hours. She likes to sit up (with help of course), loves to kick up the tray on her swing with her feet, sucks her thumb (yes I let her suck her thumb!), she's found her voice and babbles all the time, she loves when I sing to her, she smiles & laughs all the time, she's in size 1 diapers, and wears 3-6 months in clothes (they're a little big, but she's going like a weed!). She's growing & developing every day, it's amazing to watch! It's hard to believe she's gained over 8 pounds in 5 months. Our teeny tiny angel is getting to be a big girl!!! Kyle & I are enjoying every minute of being Rylie's parents.

Easter Bunny!

I forgot to post this picture last week, the quality isn't very good because it's a picture of a picture :) I took Rylie to see the Easter bunny for the first time, she did great! We stood in line for 40 MINUTES but it was all worth it, I love how the picture turned out (my big girl!). By the time we got to the front of the line Rylie had a poopy diaper and I had to pee soooo bad, then the printer went down! luckily the Easter bunny fixed it and we were able to get our picture done (I was laughing when the bunny went to fix the printer hahaha).

Happy Easter!

We spent Rylie's 1st Easter camping at O'Neill Park with Kyle's family. We all had a very nice time. This was Rylie's 1st camping trip, she did really good, she loved being outside. There was a little creek by our campsite that we would walk down to and the kids could catch tadpoles. There was also a playground we went to one night and let the kids run around. Easter morning we had a Easter egg hunt and the Easter bunny left goodies! Rylie got her 1st bikini from her Auntie Kim. Overall it was a great weekend! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter...
