Happy 1st Birthday Natalie!

Yesterday we went to Natalie's 1st birthday party (our friends daughter). It was at a park in Riverside. Natalie had such a fun day, and loved eating her cake!

An evening with old friends...

I went to dinner with some old friends from high school last night, we had the nicest time catching up on each others lives and sharing stories. "Thank you ladies for a wonderful evening, it was so great to see everyone. And Summer your boys are adorable! Love you all, let's do it again soon..."

Happy Father's Day!

Kyle & I went over to Kyle's sister's house for a Father's Day BBQ. The kids ended up running through the sprinklers, and JT had to show Jenna "how it is done".

And although I didn't get to spend "actual" Father's Day with my Dad I was able to spend some time with him last weekend when I was in Oregon so that was nice.

Happy Father's Day Dad, I love & miss you very much!!!

Brad Paisley concert

Kyle and I haven't really spent much time together lately because of our work schedules (and I've been going out of town visiting family). So Saturday night we went to Olive Garden for dinner and then to the Brad Paisley concert (friends of ours had gotten us tickets) . I'm not really a Brad Paisley fan but I do have to admit that he puts on a good show, and Jewel opened for him so I really enjoyed getting to see her. All in all it was just nice to spend some one on one time with my husband. "I love you babe".

"The Many Faces Of Brook"

My niece Brook is four years old and I really miss getting to watch her grow up (she lives in Oregon and I live in California). So last weekend while I was in Oregon visiting I really enjoyed spending time with Brook. She is so cute, funny and well behaved! "I love you Brook, Auntie Julie misses you already!"

Camping in Oregon...

Yes everybody I camped in a TENT (no trailer with running water and a nice warm bed). My Mom, Dad, Cousins and I all camped at Lake Dorena in Cottage Grove Oregon (the weekend of Ashley's graduation). The campsite and Lake were absolutley beautiful, hopefully I'll get a chance to go back one day and take Kyle. It rained a couple of days but that just added to the adventure! We had a great time.

Ashley's graduation party

After Ashley's graduation ceremony we all went back to the house for a BBQ. It was really nice getting to hang out with everyone and help celebrate Ashley's special day.

I flew up to Oregon for a few days (again poor Kyle didn't get to go) for my niece Ashley's high school graduation. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School with honors, "we are all so proud of you Ashley!".

A run down of the weekend....

It was beautiful in Southern California this past weekend. On Friday night I went and got my hair done, and let's just say. . . "I love it!". I got it dyed this dark purplish-maroon color and it looks so good! On Saturday morning I took Diesel in to get groomed and about an hour after I dropped him off I got a call from the groomer saying "they had a little accident", WHAT DID THEY MEAN THEY HAD A LITTLE ACCIDENT! well apparently the girl cut the back of Diesel's leg when she was shaving him and had to have the vet look at it and glue the cut together. So on top of having a really bad hair cut my poor baby got a cut on the back of his leg.
Kyle played in a golf tournament on Sat. that was hosted by Lonie Paxton (he's the long snapper for the New England Patriots, #66, he's also friends with our brother-in-law JT). The tournament was to raise money for Lonie's charity, The Action Force Foundation which is for athletes with disabilities. After the boys were done playing golf we all headed over to Lonie's house for a party& auction. Then after a long night of partying I woke up to a text message from my friend Tana on Sunday morning - she had the baby!!!! A little boy named Ace. I went and visited Tana in the hospital and she seemed to be doing really good, I didn't' get a chance to see the baby though, they had to move him to the NICU for observation. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see him later this week.
So that's it in a nut shell, our wonderful weekend. Now I get to get ready for next weekend, I'm flying up to Oregon for my niece Ashley's high school graduation (Kyle has to work so he can't go), I'm so excited to see everyone!
