2014 Santa picture...

Big Girl

Last week Brooklyn decided to climb out of her crib. Everytime I put her in it she climbed out, I was so worried she was going to fall out and break her arm or something that we decided to take her out of the crib and put her into a toddler bed. The first two nights she ended up in bed with me, but now she has slept the last three nights in her own bed! She even takes a nap in her room by herself. We also took down the highchair this week, she is now sitting in a booster seat at the table with us. She's getting so big! I can't believe my baby is going to be 2 years old in 6 weeks!

Sands Alive

A few weeks ago I was in Joann's buying some fabric and I saw a display for this really cool stuff called sands alive. I knew the girls would love playing with it but it was $17.99 for a 2 pound bag, I couldn't justify it since I just bought a 4 pack of play-doh for 3 bucks! I got an e-mail from Joann's last week and sands alive was on sale for $9.00 this weekend. So needless to say I went and bought a bag, the girls and I played with it all afternoon! This stuff is really soft and makes little to no mess, it's a great alternative for all you parents that don't like play-doh.

Good-Bye Jaz!

Had to say good-bye to one of my dearest friends today. Jazmine, her husband Noel, niece Adison, and their son Cruz are moving to Tennessee on Monday. Jazmine and I have been friends for over 15 years, we've had some great times together (we even lived together for awhile). I am going to miss her and watching her baby grow up, but I am SO excited for them to start this new journey!

Behavior Buddy

On Monday Rylie's class started "Behavior Buddy", which means whatever child had the best behavior in class that day gets to take home the "Buddy". There are two buddies, one girl and one boy. Rylie was the first girl to take home the big pink monkey for having good behavior that day!!! I was SO proud of her! They also have a journal that we fill out when they take the Behavior Buddy home. We had a great time with B-Buddy, Rylie was sad to see her go ; )

Rylie's 1st day of school

Rylie started TK (transitional kindergarten) on August 14th. I can't believe my baby has started school! This is Rylie's very first time at school, and she did great (and so did I, no tears!). We've already had 7 days at school and she really seems to like it, her teacher is awesome! Kyle was out on a fire for 16 days up in Northern California so he had to miss her first day, but luckily Grandma (my Mom) was in town and got to come with Brooklyn & I when we dropped Rylie off on her first day. I have more pictures but I need to download them from my Mom's camera, here are a few I took with my phone...

Rylie's 1st hair cut

A few weeks ago Rylie got her first hair cut! I've trimmed it a few times myself but this was her first official hair cut. She did SOOO good! I was very proud of her.

Easter Bunny 2014

I have SOOO much blogging to do, but here's a quick post of Brooklyn's visit to the Easter Bunny (It's not a very clear picture). She was so happy standing in line and excited when she saw him, but as soon as I put her on his lap she lost it lol. Oh and if you're wondering where Rylie is she stayed at home with Daddy, she wanted NO part of the Easter Bunny!

Camping at Stoddard Wells

We went camping/riding over Presidents Day weekend with some people Kyle works with. It was a really fun & mellow weekend, just the way I like it! Kyle & Rylie flew the kite she got for Valentines day, I got to ride my quad, the side-by-side ran great after they fixed it, Brooklyn & Rylie both had friends to play with, and the dogs had a blast!
