Ever since Rylie was born and I found out she was a girl I've wanted to paint her room PINK (don't get me wrong, I loved her nursery!). Well the day finally came...I painted her room a few weeks ago and I love it (so does she!). We also hung some black curtains (I haven't got around to hanging anything else on the walls yet). Here's a sneak peak of what we've done so far...

Rylie's new kitchen!
Rylie got this awesome new kitchen for her birthday from her Auntie Kim & Uncle JT. She loves it so much, she plays with it everyday. Her favorite thing is pouring us coffee :)
a special present
My friend Melissa made this adorable growth chart for Rylie (hope you don't mind me posting this Melissa :) ). Isn't it awesome?!?! She's so creative. I haven't had a chance to hang it yet but I just had to share... I love gifts like this, they're so meaningful & special. "Thanks again Melissa, you did a great job!"
Rylie's 2nd Birthday Party
Rylie had a Tinkerbell party for her 2nd birthday at our house. We had a big threat of rain but it ended up being a wonderful day. Rylie had so much fun surrounded by her friends & family. I still can't believe our baby girl is 2 years old! Thank you to everyone who shared in her special day, we love you guys!

Two years ago our lives changed forever, we met the most beautiful little miracle - our daughter... Rylie Makena Sanford came into the world at 12:15pm on November 11, 2009, she weighed a whopping 4 lbs. 3 oz. and was 17 in. long. She now weighs 22 lbs. and is 32.5 inches tall.
"Happy Birthday to our beautiful baby girl. We love you so much Rylie Roo! You make us smile everyday, can't imagine our lives without you. We hope you have a wonderful birthday."

Fall pictures...
I took Rylie to get her Fall / Halloween pictures taken a few weeks ago, the ones in her pumpkin costume didn't turn out that great (she was not happy).
Here's a few pics from her session...

big girl bed
Rylie's birthday isn't until the 11th but Kyle and I bought her an early birthday present. We got her a big girl bed and Minnie Mouse bedding (she loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), we are also painting and putting up new curtains (pictures coming soon!). We bought the bed over a week ago and so far so good. She has been sleeping (and napping) in it every night, she wakes up around 4am and I have to go in and rub her back but she doesn't try to get out of her bed. It was kinda sad taking her crib out of her room, my baby is growing up.

Halloween 2011
We went over to Kyle's sister's house to carve pumpkins, eat dinner, and go trick-or-treating. We had a great night and Rylie was amazing! She really got the hang of trick-or-treating, and her "big" cousins were so good with her. She would wave, say bye-bye and blow kisses at each house. She walked a lot (we didn't even bring a stroller), I was so proud of her. She really liked handing out candy too. I love that we have this Halloween tradition of going over to "Auntie Kim's" house every year, we always have a wonderful time!
Breakfast, Halloween morning. I asked her smile and this is what I got hahahaha |
