I got a new toy!!!

Look what my hubby bought me yesterday! I finally got my new quad, and I love it! It's a 2008 Kawasaki KFX 700 - I've officially met my match! This thing has A LOT of power. I took it for a test ride yesterday and I must say it's a little intimidating, it's going to take a while to get used to riding this "beast". Some of you know that I'm a big Chad Reed fan (who rides for Yamaha) and don't particularly like Bubba Stewart (who rides for Kawasaki) but going "green" doesn't change my opinion, I still love Chad Reed!!!

My nieces Ashley & Brook and my nephew Jake (yes I have 2 nephews named Jake) are up at my parents house on the San Juan Islands (Washington) for spring break. Yesterday my Mom texted me with this picture, her and Brook were having a tea party.

A visit to Ray & LaQuita's to see the mini horses!

Last week Kyle and his parents took Jenna & Jake up to Ray & LaQuita's to see the mini horses. As you can tell by the pictures Jenna was in HEAVEN! Ray & LaQuita are old friends of Kyle's parents, they live up at Lake Matthews and raise mini horses on their property. I didn't get to go this time because I had to work but hopefully I can talk Kyle into taking me up there one of these days.

Baby Aidan is here!

Our friends Kirk & Alicia had their baby today (March24th). His name is Aidan Lester Sullivan. If I remember correctly he weighed 8lbs. 10oz. and was 20in. long (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Isn't he a handsome boy!
Congratulations Kirk, Alicia, and Garet! We love you guys!!

Easter

We spent Easter with Kyle's family at his Aunt & Uncle's house in Harbor City. We couldn't believe it was 90 degrees in MARCH! It was a really nice day and we enjoyed watching the kids hunt for Easter eggs.

Dave & Liz's Wedding

We went to Dave and Liz's wedding last Saterday. Dave is one of Kyle's good friends that he's known for a long time. It was a beautiful wedding and we all had a great time!

I'm a Great-Auntie!!!

My niece Lacey had her baby on March 1, 2008 at 3:42am, he weighed 7lbs. 12oz. and was 20inches long. They named him Riley Wyatt Irvin. Isn't he adorable?!?! Hopefully I'll be able to meet him one day, they live in Michigan so there's quite a bit of distance between us.

Michael is coming home!!!

My cousin Michael is a United States Marine and has been stationed over in Iraq since last summer. I am so excited to say that he will be coming home TOMORROW! "We've all missed you Michael and can't wait to see you. Thank you so much for fighting for our country, I am so proud of you."

Garet's 4th birthday

Last Sunday we went to Garet's 4th birthday party (I can't believe he's already four years old!). For those of you who don't remember Garet was the ring bearer in our wedding, and the son of our friends Alicia & Kirk. Happy Birthday Garet, We love you buddy!

A day at the SNOW!

Kyle, Kim, JT, Jenna, Jake and I went to the snow last Saturday to go sledding. This was Jake's first time to the snow, he liked helping Uncle Kyle and Jenna build a snowman, but I think his favorite thing was sledding down the hill with his Daddy! We all had a great day together.
