I bought Rylie this big thing of stickers today (she LOVES stickers!). One of the pages was of "paper dolls", and you could dress them. I couldn't believe how well she did, she even told me who was who. She amazes me everyday!

fun in the "big pool"
Our neighborhood has a big community pool & spa. Kyle & I took Rylie over there today to go swimming, she absolutley loved it! She has no fear of the water, it's going to be easy to teach her to swim.

some June pictures...
I've been slacking on taking pictures and blogging lately. I'm really trying to get my camera out on a daily basis, so hopefully I'll be a better blogger :)Here's some pics from the month of June...

Our trip to Grandma & Grandpa's
This post is a little over due... Rylie & I went up to visit my parents in Washington last month, we were there for 2 weeks. Unfortunatley, Kyle had to work and couldn't come with us. I am so lucky that Rylie is such a good little traveler. We had a really nice time. Rylie loved playing with my parents dogs, she also loved playing Farmville with my Mom hahahaha. Here's a few pictures from our trip...

CONFIRMED!
I had my in-depth unltrasound today to check if I had velamentous cord insertion again like I did with Rylie. The ultrasound looked great and so did the umbilical cord. The baby is growing perfectly, and he was able to confirm that we are definitley having a GIRL! I am soooo excited, I came home and ordered her 2 flower headbands :) I know it would've been fun to have a little boy (one of each), but I LOVE having a little girl! I'm glad all the bows, flowers, tu-tus & dresses don't end with Rylie, I get to start all over again! I can't wait to start thinking of picture ideas :) Plus I was getting worried that if I had a boy he would have to play with all of these pink toys LOL. Now we just have to think of a name for this new little princess (I have a few ideas), please feel free to leave any suggestions! Oh and I'm 20+ weeks, more than half way there!

80% = GIRL
I had my ultrasound done last Thursday, the baby's legs were crossed but the ultrasound tech said there's an 80% chance we are having a GIRL! I am sooo excited that Rylie is going to have a little sister! I am also glad my husband isn't one of these guys that HAS to have a boy, he enjoys his little girl very much. Bring on the tu-tus & bows!
Wow! 2 little girls, I can't wait!

6 months from today...
*My baby turned 2 1/2 today!
*6 months from today we will be celebrating her 3rd birthday, crazy!
*6 months from today is also my due date, so most likely will have a new baby in the house (since I'm having a scheduled c-section).
*Hard to believe how different our lives are going to be in 6 months...

Pregnancy does not agree with ME!
I was really hoping this pregnancy was going to be different than my last one. But so far it's actually been worse, if that's even possible. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks, and by 6 weeks I was so sick. I have morning sickness all day! I also have a condition called "ptyalism" (which started at 8 weeks), ptyalism is excessive saliva & mucus. I won't go into details because it's pretty gross. But I haven't really been able to leave my house (except to go to dr. appointments) in over a month. I have a lot more vomiting with this pregnancy too. I know, I'm mess hahahahaha. I just hope & pray that as I enter my 2nd trimester I will start to feel better.
I also have to mention how amazing my husband & daughter have been through all of this. Kyle has been so supportive & understanding, he has been so helpful with Rylie too. Rylie has been such a good girl, she brings me water & rubs my back when I throw up.

potty training update
A few months ago I mentioned that I thought we might be ready to start potty training. I knew it was going to be tough because Rylie has "pooping issues". She gets really constipated, and has to take miralax twice a week (which then flushes her out). We have pretty much mastered going pee-pee in the potty (she even stays dry through her 2 hour nap!) but she refuses to go poop on the potty. She associates pooping with pain & discomfort, so she'll ask to put on a pull-up so she can go hide in the corner to poop (and sometimes it'll take her all day to poop) she hates pooping in her underwear. We've been working on this for 6 weeks now and sometimes it gets a little frustrating because I know most kids are completely potty trained in 1-2 weeks. But I also sympathize with her because I know she has such a hard time pooping. I've talked to her doctor about it and he is not overly concerned, he said some kids just go through this. So we'll keep working on it and hopefully one day she'll realize it's easier to poop on the potty!
